Footy Fever

Tonight I am going to attend my first real Australian Rules Football (AFL) game ever. I am tagging along with one of the guys from work and his girlfriend and we are going to see the Hawthorn Hawks at the G

It looks to be quite the night, and I am very excited. The MCG is supposed to be a really great venue.

Just in case you were wondering about the history of Aussie Rules, it's a bit like rugby and a bit like "gridiron" as they call it here. Really fast with lots of blood, sweat, and drama. Yesss!
